A Lost Feather can bring so much sadness

Do you collect feathers? I know I do, and as a grieving mom, I am guessing you do too.
I was on our bi weekly zoom call with a group of grieving moms last Friday,( which was lovely) and Mary,(name changed for privacy purposes) the one mom showed us a lovely arrangement she has with all of her feathers. It made me think of the Japanese art form of Ikebana. It was quite beautiful, and has motivated me to look at doing something like that too.
I normally just stick mine into my purse, or handbag in a side pocket, or use tape to put them on a desk or table. I had one in my phone that I carried around for the longest time, but somehow I lost it. I flew into a real tizz and tried to retrace my steps of everywhere I had been that day. I had had a couple of meetings and called both places, but they had not seen it. ( I must have seemed quite crazed, sobbing into the phone, asking if they had seen a grey and white feather.
I have learned my lesson now. No more feathers in random places. I have them secured. This is the one on my phone firmly held in place with tape now.
Do you collect feathers, and if so what do you do with them?
Here is a 10 min yoga stretch that may help you.
I will be starting zoom class shortly
