As a Grieving Mom, My Mission is to Help Others Heal Through Yoga and Retreats
Grief is a complex emotion that can leave us feeling overwhelmed, helpless, and alone. Unfortunately, so many of us do not know how to cope with grief and are left struggling to find peace and healing. For me, since losing Dakota, I found solace in yoga, and it has become my mission to help others heal through this practice. Dakota and I started our Yoga Teacher Training together, and I finished it for us.
I was paralyzed with grief, and was searching for a way to find peace. Yoga has been transformative for me. I found that the physical and mental practices of yoga helped me to cope with my grief and to find some sense of peace and healing.
Now, I have dedicated my life to teaching yoga to beginners and to grieving moms. I want to help others find the same comfort and healing that I found through my practice Not long after my training, a dear friend asked me to teach her yoga,(she had never felt comfortable going to a studio), and I have not looked back.
My grief classes are designed specifically for those who are grieving and are focused on helping participants find peace and release the pain of their loss. My beginner classes are set to give you the basics, until you are comfortable to go into a studio.
In addition to teaching yoga, I also run retreats for grievers.(My 1st international one coming up in Oct.in Puerto Morelos Mexico) Intentionalhealingretreats.com
This is a safe and supportive space for moms to come together, practice yoga, and share their experiences with others who are also grieving. The retreat aims to provide an opportunity for moms to connect with others who are going through a similar experience and to learn from one another
My offering to the world is simple: to help others heal through the practice of yoga and to create a supportive community for those who are grieving. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to find peace and healing, and I am dedicated to making that a reality for as many people as possible.

As a grieving mom, I understand the pain and struggle that comes with loss. However, I also understand the power of yoga and the positive impact it can have on the mind and body and soul.
My mission is to help others heal through this practice and to provide a supportive community for those who are grieving. This is my offering to the world, and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. Dakota is with me on this healing journey.
