My grief journey

but are paying a settlement fee of $20 Million. (Sounds fishy to me).

I joined the class action suit against, the manufactures of Oxycontin. Dakota was prescribed it after she broke her arm in gymnastics at 15. Her life and friend group changed drastically once she had that drug. When she finished the prescription, she started self medicating when she had with the help of her new friends. She has a metal plate in her arm which caused her a lot of pain, especially in the winter.

Oxycontin it is no longer available in Canada. Sadly, I think it is still available in the US.

So some justice has been served.
I won't bother to pursue the claim further. (lots of documents that I just don't have the energy to find, plus) I would rather just put my energy into good things.

The people who supplied Dakota with drugs for her self-medication will get what they deserve.

I am proud to say, Dakota got back full use of her arm and went on to become a Gymnastics Coach.

She is at peace now and I am thankful that I had her for as long as I did. I choose to live in the light of her life.

God how I miss her so much.
