Welcome to Yoga with Erin B (āCompany,ā āwe,ā āus,ā or āourā). These Terms of Service (āTermsā) govern your access to and use of our website at yogawitherinb.com (the āSiteā), our classes (online and in person), retreats, workshops, private sessions, digital products, and any related services (collectively, the āServicesā).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not access or use the Services.

2) Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your location) to purchase or book Services. Minors may participate in classes only with the consent and presence (as required) of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on the minorās behalf.
3) Health & safety disclaimer (no medical or mental-health advice)
Yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound healing, Yoga Nidra, and related practices carry inherent risks. The Services are educational and wellness-oriented only and are not medical, psychological, physiotherapy, or counseling services.
Consult a qualified physician or mental-health professional before beginning any new wellness program, especially if you are pregnant, recently injured, recovering from surgery, have cardiovascular, neurological, psychiatric, or other health conditions, or have been advised to limit physical activity.
You are responsible for monitoring your own condition and practicing within your limits. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or emotional overwhelm and seek appropriate care.
In emergencies, call your local emergency number immediately.
By using the Services, you assume all risks associated with participation.
4) Accounts & communications
Some features may require creating an account or submitting your email/phone number. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it updated. You consent to receive transactional and service-related communications (e.g., booking confirmations, reminders). You can opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link.
5) Booking, pricing, payments & taxes
Currency. Unless we state otherwise, prices are in CAD for Canada-based Services and may be in USD for Mexico-based retreats or international offerings.
Payment processing. We may use third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, WeTravel, Momence, Acuity/Calendly) to process payments and manage bookings. Their terms and privacy policies apply in addition to these Terms.
Taxes & fees. Applicable taxes, processing fees, platform fees, and currency conversion fees may be added at checkout.
Promotions. Discounts and promotions are time-limited and may be withdrawn at any time.
6) Cancellations, rescheduling & refunds
We aim to be fair while keeping small-business realities in mind. The policies below apply unless a specific Service listing states a different policy during checkout (in which case that policy controls).
6.1 Online group classes (Zoom)
Cancel/reschedule: Up to 12 hours before classāfree reschedule or credit.
Late cancel/no-show: Less than 12 hoursāno refund/credit.
6.2 Private sessions (online or in person)
Cancel/reschedule: Up to 24 hours before the startāfree reschedule.
Late cancel/no-show: Less than 24 hoursāfee up to 100% of the session price.
6.3 Workshops & special events (non-retreat)
Cancel: Up to 7 days beforeāfull refund minus processing fees.
6ā1 days before: 50% refund or credit (at our discretion).
Same-day/no-show: No refund.
6.4 Beach & group experiences (e.g., Playa del Carmen)
Deposit: Required to secure date/time; non-refundable.
Cancel: Up to 72 hours beforeābalance (if paid) refunded minus processing fees; deposit retained.
Less than 72 hours/no-show: No refund. Weather plans will be communicated; if we cancel due to unsafe conditions and cannot reschedule, weāll issue a full refund.
6.5 Retreats (e.g., Mexico)
Deposit: Required to reserve your spot; non-refundable.
Balance due: As stated on the retreat page/checkout (typically 60ā90 days prior).
Participant cancellation:
90+ days before start: Refund of amounts paid excluding the deposit and any non-recoverable supplier costs.
60ā89 days: 50% refund of amounts paid (deposit & non-recoverables excluded).
<60 days: No refund (you may transfer your spot to an approved participant, subject to admin fees).
Travel insurance: Strongly required. You are responsible for passports, visas, vaccinations, flights, transfers, and insurance covering trip cancellation, medical, evacuation, and baggage.
Our cancellation: If we cancel a retreat for reasons within our control, youāll receive a full refund of amounts paid to us (not including your independent travel costs). For force majeure (see Section 15), we will provide reasonable credits or partial refunds where possible after non-recoverable costs.
6.6 Digital products & recordings
All sales are final once access is granted or files are downloaded, due to the nature of digital goods.
Medical emergencies or exceptional circumstances: Please email us. We may offer a credit or partial refund at our sole discretion after considering non-recoverable costs.
7) Class access, technology & recordings
Access links (Zoom, etc.) are for your personal use onlyādo not share publicly.
Tech readiness. You are responsible for your internet connection and device setup. We are not liable for interruptions outside our control.
Recordings. From time to time, we may record sessions for quality or for on-demand libraries. We will notify participants when recording is active. If you prefer not to appear, keep your camera off and use an alias. By attending a recorded session with your camera/microphone on, you consent to being recorded.
8) Community standards & conduct
We aim to maintain a supportive, inclusive environment. Harassment, hate speech, intimidation, or disruptive behavior is not permitted. We may remove anyone violating these standards from a class, event, or online space without refund.
9) Assumption of risk, waiver & release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you (a) acknowledge the inherent risks of yoga and related wellness activities (including but not limited to musculoskeletal injury, slips/fallsāespecially in outdoor/beach settingsāemotional triggers, and environmental factors), (b) voluntarily assume these risks, and (c) release and discharge the Company, its teachers, assistants, contractors, and venue partners from claims arising from your participation, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
10) Intellectual property & permitted use
All content on the Site and in the Servicesāclasses, videos, audio, PDFs, images, copy, logos, and trademarksāis owned by or licensed to us and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the Services for your individual, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, record, rebroadcast, share, sell, or distribute our content without prior written permission.
11) User content, testimonials & media
If you submit reviews, comments, photos, or other content (āUser Contentā), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute that content for the operation and promotion of the Services.
Photos/video at events: We may capture photos/video. Weāll do our best to respect preferencesāplease tell the teacher if you do not want to be photographed/filmed.
Do not upload or share content that infringes othersā rights or violates the law.
12) Privacy
Your privacy matters. Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Please review it before using the Services.
13) Third-party links & tools
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party platforms (e.g., Zoom, Stripe, PayPal, WeTravel, Momence, Calendly, WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram). We are not responsible for third-party sites/services. Your use of them is subject to their terms and privacy policies.
14) Changes to Services and to these Terms
We may update the Services and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the Site with an updated āLast updatedā date. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15) Force majeure
We will not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, extreme weather, pandemics, public-health orders, labor disputes, war, civil disturbances, supply-chain failures, power/internet outages, or government actions.
16) Disclaimers
The Services are provided āas isā and āas available.ā To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation.
17) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Services.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific Service giving rise to the claim in the six (6) months preceding the event.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, some of the above may not apply.
18) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its teachers, contractors, and partners from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the Services, (b) your breach of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party rights.
19) Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for any reason, including for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification) will survive.
20) Governing law & venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the provincial and federal courts located in British Columbia for any dispute not subject to informal resolution.
21) Severability & entire agreement
If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that part will be interpreted to reflect the partiesā original intent, and the remaining sections will remain in full force. These Terms, together with any Service-specific booking terms and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
